PHS Dessert Bar was created by Chef Yvonne Ivy, a pastry chef and mom of four who loves the art of celebrating. She knew the importance of staying connected and wanted to create something that was spectacular! Our Celebration + BOX’s, Cake + JAR’s, and Carte Blanche cakes are a staple for any celebration. The result is a brand that delivers a seamless, less time-consuming approach to celebrating you and your loved ones.

Meet The Chef:
CHEF YiVY has and always will be, a creative. She started cultivating a fondness for baking at the age of 18 and pursed that passion by attending The Illinois Institute of Art Chicago located in her hometown. After completing her formal training YiVY went on to work for various 5-star restaurants, bakeries, hotels, cupcake boutiques, and couture wedding cake companies.
As kitchen manager and head decorator for these companies, YiVY was able to serve former presidents, Barack Obama & Bill Clinton, Chicago’s mayor Rahm Emanuel, Oprah, Chance the Rapper, Steve Harvey, KeKe Palmer, Dwayne Wade, Floyd Mayweather, Luol Deng, Nazir Mohammad, Common, Hebru Brantley as well as a host of other celebrities, musicians, and athletes . Her well rounded kitchen managerial experience has led her to start and successfully run Penthouse Sweets since 2013. She continues to update her skill set with new techniques taught by world renowned chefs.
She has three beautiful daughters Erin, Sasha, and Kassidy as well as a new addition to the PHS family, her son Liam. To this day, the PHS mission is to add value to our clients lives by offering a seamless, less time consuming and comprehensive approach which produces remarkable, customizable, high quality desserts and party goods.
